Berlin & Cologne, Germany, 29.4.-3.5.2018

This is a translated version of this this.
My family had planned for a while a trip to Germany. My father have visited Germany a few times, and my mother had never been there. I had visited Germany once, and really loved it.
Flight left at 7:50 AM, so I knew, if I took my sleeping medication I would miss the flight, so I decided to be awake the night. We arrived at the airport at 6 AM, and it was surprisingly easy. My contact lenses had 12 hours of use time, so I could not wear them the whole day. That meant that I had to arrive to the airport without my false lashes, as they did not fit behind my glasses. It was awful, I look horrible without false lashes, but I survived. Next time I'm going to wear contact lenses that can be worn for 24 hours.

The flight itself was easy, only about two hour of flight. We were at 10 AM at Berlin, and went to the hotel right away. At the hotel I changed my clothes, I had been planning that my father would photograph me. I changed into my corset, miniskirt, Demonia's Charade 100 shoes and stay-ups. Unfortunately my father hadn't gotten any pictures that I would have liked to post to the Internet, and I did not get any selfies that I was satisfied with, so unfortunately you will get no pictures of me that time.
The same thing that happened last time happened again - people wanted to get pictures with me. :D
They were so fast that I could not count how many there were, but about ten people wanted to get a picture with me. I also get multiple comments how tall I was, which was funny.

Saturday passed pretty much of us walking around, but I was so tired from the night, so I could not walk a lot. I had visited most of the attractions of Berlin, and I saw new things. We visited Brandenburg Gate, and it was still really great looking.

The next day we went to a boat ride, and saw a lot of Berlin's attractions. The same thing that happened last time happened again - everyone around me was German. At the ride the announcements were in German and in English, but we sat at the middle of the boat so we could not hear anything.  We saw a lot of attractions, much more than at the bus ride I was in the last time I visited Berlin.

After the boat ride we went for shopping, but only shops at the city center were expensive specialized shops. Unlike in Finland, there are no shopping malls at the city center, and we did not want to get on a bus since my father did not know where malls are.

Some picture I took front of cathedral.

The Cologne Cathedral is beautiful.

The third day was the departure for Cologne. The train travel was interesting, since the train was hour and half late. So the trip lasted for five and half hours instead of four. I was in the hotel for a while, until it was the time to see Tanz der Vampire, my reason to go to Germany. I heard about Tanz when Seinäjoki here in Finland had it's own production. My mother was reading about a review about the musical, and the review said "goth musical". Because words "goth musical" hit Trixena 14 years old very strongly, I demanded to see the musical. By just luck we got places from the first row, and the experience was just amazing - I still remember how in Finale one of the vampires invited me to the stage and how the dancers seemed to dance right in front of me.
At the first Cologne show I sat at the third row, on the side of the stage. Pretty good place, I saw and heard everything well. Actors were Pamina Lenn as Sarah, David Ansperger as von Krolock, Tom van der Ven as Alfred, Victor Petersen as professor Abronsius, Sara Jane Checchi as Madga and Christian Funk as Herbert. The casting was same the next say, but Sarah was played by Maureen Mac Gillavry
The musical itself was great, and I was not irritated at all that the journey to Cologne had been so long. The orchestra was tremendous, the musical was visually beautiful and imposing, great chorus, great actors. I noticed that both of the Sarah's holded back their voices, and started singing properly at Draussen ist Freiheit. I don't know if they were asked to do so, since they both had pretty nice voices. Both of the Sarah's could sing, but Maureen Mac Gillavry sung a lot better.
The only thing I was disappointed of the musical was Alfred. Alfred is one of the main characters of the musical, and usually he has a good singer to perform him. Tom van der Ven was not a very good singer and was not at the level Germany's Alfred usually is. I still liked him, he looked young enough and he acted well.
As my favorite - surprise surprise - was David Ansperger's von Krolock. I did not know him as an actor and I did not know what he sounded like, but his version Unstillbare Gier gave me goose bumps. His versions of Unstillbare Gier and Totale Finsternis were just amazing.
I liked both of the Sarah's, but I liked Maureen Max Gillavry more. She sings very beautifully.
I was surprised when Sara Jane Checchi was a soprano. I had never heard Madga as a soprano, and  it sounded really good. That's the reason why she sang Tot ist zu sein Komisch bit higher than usual.  She sung better than both of the actors for Sarah, which was bit strange, considering that Madga is a lot smaller role.
I also liked Christian Funk's Herbert, because his Herbert was bit different what I have seen in Germany. Germany's Herberts are usually bit nice for a vampire. Funk's Herbert was a little bit scarier and dominant that I'm used for Germany's Herberts, and he got an awesome voice (listen Christian Funk's cover for Unstillbare Gier, you will not be disappointed).

The musical itself was pretty much the same as the DVD. Tanz der Vampire was revised in 2000, and and since it has been the same, except I noticed that some of the background vampires have different outfits. I found odd that when performed live things happen very fast, and if I did not know the musical from memory I would have trouble to keep up with the musical.
Also both show's had scenes, where it seemed like the actors could not hear the music and sung "guessing". Parts like this was with both of the show's, so that was bit confusing.
Even though I've watched the DVD and bootlegs multiple times, listened all four German recordings, the musical was really a different experience when live. The musical comes to Berlin again in few years, and I have to see it again.
At the end I have to tell you what happened during Draussen is Freiheit Reprise. I was sitting at corridor seat, and during the song Sarah and Alfred run through the corridor. Alfred's coat hit me in the face :DDD That was an experience. So thanks Tom <3

Poster was so nice, so I had to take a picture.

All the programs I have. On the top there's Seinäjoki's program, then there's Cologne's program and then Helsinki's program.

The CD's I own. First four are from Austria, and then there are Russia's and Belgium's recordings. I started to collect these, I'm still missing recordings from Hungary, Japan and Poland.

In Cologne's theater there was a mug for sale, but I did not like it. So I decided to buy this one instead. There are three different Tanz der Vampire mugs far as I know, and I liked this one the best.

I'm going to see Tanz der Vampire again but this time in Denmark. I'm going there in March to see their version. Super excited, and looking forward to see it and write about it.

Here are some of the pictures I forgot to add to the original post.

Tracon, 7.-8.9.2019

Tracon was once again and it is still the best con in Finland. Tracon is located in Tampere, which is a nice city to have a con. It is not far away from where I live, and the hotels and railway station is near the place the con is held, Tampere Hall. Tracon is also the biggest con in Finland and viewed to be the best con here. I totally agree to that statement - even though Desucon is a nice con, Sibelius Hall is kind of far away from everything and there are no grocery stores nearby than just one, which is always sold out during the con time. There are also no other eat than Kotipizza, which is always full. But back to Tracon. This time I did not have to go there by train, because my friend Tiia asked me if I wanted a ride to the con. The person who took me there is called Karudoge, and he was super nice. He had his phone connected to his car so we could listen music from Spotify. We listened Rammstein half of the journey, which was super fun, and it was probably educational for him, since he only knew two songs from the band, Du Hast and Amerika. We arrived to Tampere in Friday even though the con started at Saturday, and I slept the first night at my friend's house. My friend is called Taru and she is super nice. She and her boyfriend helped with my corset, which I had no time to test before the con. I was really tired from Friday, so I woke up later than I wanted - I woke up at 12 PM. At 4 PM I was at the con, so I was little bit late from what I imagined to be there. There were some lectures at the morning, but they were so early I did not even try to go to them. Saturday did not have any lectures that I really wanted to see, so I pretty much just hanged there. I went to see the counter hall, and for once, I bought more than one thing. I'm not really a shopper in cons, and I usually buy just one thing or nothing. I bought a headdress from Restyle, a second hand figure and a handbag from Banned. I saw the handbag first in Desucon, I but did not buy it, since the size is bit strange to me - I usually wear big handbags normally and small handbags when I'm in bars and parties. The handbag from Banned is middle sized - it is not as big as my everyday bags but bigger than the bags I wear to clubs. But I hope I find a place to wear it. I also saw a beautiful wallet there, but as I do not need a new wallet I did not buy it. At the evening I went to bar, to an evening party arranged by the con. It had nice techno music, but I did not stay there quite long - I had been wearing my corset over six hours, and as it was as tight as it could be, it started to feel bad. Also the queues to the bar were ridiculous - there were 20 meter queue at the bar sometimes. Eventually I stayed there for an hour, and went to the hotel to sleep. I woke up at 8 AM, a lot earlier than I did at Saturday. I went to the con by 11 AM and hanged there, until I went to see a lecture about older cosplayers and their experiences about cons. They were have been in cons longer than I have - for 15 and 16 years. What they talked was interesting, they talked about the very first cons in Finland and how things have changed, and also showed their old cosplay pictures. The lecture was fun, but unfortunately they ran out of time. I went to see the counter hall again, but did not buy anything. Overall the con was fun, and nice ending for the year. Next time I'm going to Desucon, if I'm not going to Desucon Frostbite.

Things that I bought:

 All the things I bought.

Usako from Hoshizora no Babylon. I bought her for 50 euro, so I did pretty good deal. She's my third bunny girl figure, and she's super cute.

Handbag from Banned. I bought it for 30 euro. I really like the print, reminds me of Notre Dame.

Headdress from Restyle. I have been looking for this, since this is sold out from Restyle's website. I bought it for 25 euro, which was a pretty good price for this.

Rammstein, Ratina Stadium, 10.8.2019

This was the fourth time I saw Rammstein live here in Finland and that band does not leave you cold. Rammstein is my favourite industrial metal band and for a reason. Their songs, especially their older songs, are pure gold. I have already seen them few times like I mentioned, but this show was the best of all shows I've seen. I really liked that they played their old songs - I like their newer ones as well, but the old Rammstein songs hold a place in my heart. They played songs like Links 2-3-4, Mein Hertz brennt, Mein Teil, Du Hast, Sonne and Ich will, all are my favourites from this band. And the explosives! I was pretty close to the stage and really heard the explosives and felt them - I felt the heat from the fire and that really gave me adrenaline.
Rammstein and I go pretty far - I first heard from them over ten years ago, and first saw them live in Provinssirock in 2010. I was 13 years old back then, and I've loved their live performances ever since.
I saw them again in Provinssirock and in RockFest, but like I said, this concert was the best I have seen. Rammstein's support band was called Duo Jatekok, which I'm not sure if I liked even though I'm a fan of piano music. They did not play on the main stage, which was strange, and honestly I did not even see them that well. They played piano covers of Rammstein's songs, which sounded good but I felt like they were a odd choice to play before a metal band. In the end they played an acoustic version of Engel with Duo Jatekok, and five members of the band surfed with inflatable boat, with Till Lindenmann meeting them with a Willkommen sign.  This was the first time they've done this with concerts I have been in, if I remember right. Apparently guitarists Paul Landers and Richard Kruspe kissed at the end of Ausländer, like they did in Russia, but I managed to miss that. Overall, the concert was amazing, and the best I've seen of Rammstein. I really want to see them again - next year they would go to Estonia, and even though Estonia is not far away, I'm not probably going there. I'm hoping they will go to Finland soon again.

Unfortunately I did not manage to get a lot of pictures but here are few I took.

Here are some videos from the concert in Finland:

Du Hast. One of my absolute favourite songs from this band.

Ich will. Also one of my favourites.

Here you can see almost the whole show.

Popcult Helsinki 11.-12.5.2019

Popcult Helsinki was again great. One of my favorite cons in Finland. Popcult Helsinki differs from other Finnish cons from it is not an anime con. Popcult Helsinki is a con for Western things, like Disney, Star Wars, Game of Thrones and so forth. As all other cons I go to are about anime and sometimes games, it is refreshing to go to a con where the con is not about those things.
This years Popcult was propably one the hardest cons I have gone to in these 11 years I have been going to cons. Both of the guest of honors were interviewed at the morning. Guest of honors were this year Antti Pääkkönen, propably the most well known Finnish voice actor, and Rosi Kämpe, only Finn who draws for Marvel. Both of them were interviewed at morning, Antti Pääkkönen's interview was at 12:30 and Rosi Kämpe's was at 10:30. As it tooks over an hour to get there where I'm from, I had wake up really early, especially at Sunday.
I managed to be at the con so early that I saw both interviews, and both mornings I woke up at five AM. I have always been a big fan of voice actors, and Antti Pääkkönen is my favorite from all Finnish voice actors. He can change his voice so easily and sound completely different, which is something I really like. Far as I know, he had dubbed most of the Finnish dubs that have been made and therefore holds the record of being most productive voice actor here in Finland. His presence was really calming and he talked a lot about his work as a voice actor and and a theather actor. I really liked his interview, and I liked that at the background they showed characters that he voice acted.

After that I hanged for a while, considered that I would go to see a lecture about Captain Marvel, but decided not to. I don't know her character from the comics, just saw the movie about her and thought it was pretty mediocre. That's why I decided not to see the lecture, her character did not really interest me that much, but as an afterthought, I kinda regretted that I did not go to see the lecture, it was propably interesting even though Captain Marvel is not one of my favorite Marvel characters.

After that I went to see a lecture about Disney's female characters. Lecture was about were they damsel in distress or heroes. Lecturer decided to show the characters chronological order, from oldest to newest. That's why we did not see newer characters, like Judy Hopps or Kida that I kind of wanted to see. But the lecture worked with older characters as well. Eventually about half of the characters they showed were damsel in distress and half of them were heroes. I agreed with all the lecturer said so no complaints here.  The lecturer said she propably makes a part two, and that I'm willing to see.

I also met a guy called Joni at the con. We met outside where he said my goth style is pretty cool, and I told him his full body knight armor was also pretty good. He asked if I wanted to go to eat, and as I had not eaten for almost ten hours, I decided to go with him. The con was kind of far from everything, and there was only one restaurant. It was an Asian restaurant and I have never been in those, as I cannot eat fish and I kind of expected seafood was the only thing they had. I was pleasantly surprised, when they had other things too, and I ordered chicken with black bean sauce and rice. It was really good and my first exprerience with Asian restaurant was pleasant.

The next day was pretty exhausting as I had to go to the con so early. I woke up at five and at eight I was ready. I accidentally went to the same train as Joni, and he showed me the tram to the con.
Rosi Kämpe's interview was pretty cool, she talked about her work for Marvel and how she draws Spider-Gwen. Again, they showed her work at the background. She also was very pleasing and she really seemed to like her job as an artist for Marvel. She talked how some artists for Marvel draw on paper, and they have to store it at their house, as they have thousands of pages. She drew with computers, which I understand. Overall, her interview was pretty nice.

After that I decided to go to see a lecture about musicals and why are they so dark. I kind of did not get why they were called so dark, when the lecturers introduced musicals like Cats which is not dark at all, even though Grizabella is banished. But they mentioned some of my favorite musicals like Cats, Tanz der Vampire, Jekyll & Hyde and Phantom of the Opera. Overall the lecture was pretty good, even though they introduced the musicals quite fast.

Then I went to see a lecture about Harry Potter. The lecture was about the differences beetween the books and movies. This lecture was the best one of the whole con. Unfortunately the lecturer was given only 45 minutes for his lecture. He even said he could do a three hour lecture, which I would gladly watch. He pointed out literally all differences beetween the books and movies, and even I, who has read the books and watched the movies countless times, did not notice everything.
Unfortunately he had so little time that he had to rush to the end and did not get to say everything he wanted. Overall the lecture was good, and I hope that he gets to do a longer and better lecture about the same subject.

Then for a while I went for a Harry Potter meeting. The meeting was good, I got to chat with the people, but I could not be there very long since I had to to see Antti Pääkkönen's Q&A.
The Q&A was nice, and in Kibecon there was this place where you had to guess 10 of his characters just from the voice clip, and then you could ask a question and the people there would write it down if you guessed them all right. If I remember right, I got 8 right, but did not recognize SpongeBob SquarePants, because when I watched it as a child, the show was shown in English and also did not recognize Miguel from Road to El Dorado because I have been so little since I watched it last time.

The con was good, and I will be visiting it next year. Sorry no picture of me this time, I did not feel like taking selfies.

Yukicon 9.-10.3.2019

Yukicon was again great, one of the nicest conventions there are in Finland, it was a con starter for this year for me (I visited a very small con called Kibecon in January, but I did not really count that as a con starter for this year).
Yukicon was a two day con as always, but this was the first time I stayed only for one day.
Reasons being that all the interesting panels there were were on Saturday and pretty much all my friends worked for the con, so they could not hang out with me.
The con was pretty nice as it was in March, not February as usual, and that's why the weather was warmer and I could even go outside without my coat.
Also the con was very close to me - it takes only 25 minutes to get there by train, which is a big difference to most cons where it takes for me two hours to travel.
The make-up for this con turned out pretty nice, and the lipstick where I mixed two pretty dark lipsticks turned out pretty good and I did not have to re-apply it, but then again, I did not eat during the whole day.
I wore my newest corset which I had no time to test before the con, and I was really surprised that it fit me so well. The corset was from CorsetDeal, it's original price was 90 euro and I managed to get it with 25 euro cost.

Like I said, all my friends that I contacted worked for the con, so I was alone most of the time. But I met a girl called Olivia, who with help of few people, laced my corset. My corset was put on by four people, too bad Olivia was the only one I was clever enough to ask their social media of.
She was super nice, she hanged out with me until she had to go to work.

I also met Firith, with whom I have been roleplaying for few months. They bought Soul Calibur 6 from me, as I had no use for it since I do not own PS4 (I bought this statue and got the game from the Collector's Edition).
I hanged out with them for a while, talked about what we will do with the roleplay, and talked about few other things, and then they left.

Then I went for the panel called Kohti ulkomaan coneja (loosely translated as "Towards foreign cons") where the topic was cons in Europe. They mentioned cons like NärCon in Sweden, Desucon in Norway, and Comic-Con in Poland. I have heard of NärCon as many of my friends have visited it, but for some reason it has never interested me - as it really isn't a con, more like a festival with cosplay. NärCon is a con I want to travel to, but not likely in few next years - I rather go to British bigger cons like Comic-Con or Anime Expo.
They talked how Desucon was not the best con in Norway, but how they had a cosplay catwalk was funny, and they even showed few pictures of the con.
For me, the most interesting thing was Poland's Comic-con.
Comic-Con is one of the biggest cons there are, and they mentioned how big it was - Poland's Comic-Con had 30 000 visitors, which is a lot on Europe's standards. Comic-Con is definitely one of those cons I would like to visit, especially the ones in United States.

There was also a panel about cosplay in Japan and it's con called Comiket. That was really interesting, but I managed to forgot about it, somehow I remembered that it started at seven when it actually ended at seven. That was the most interesting panel at the whole con, and I was annoyed with myself that I forgot what time it started. But on the other hand, I will likely never visit Japanese cons, and I actually am aware of the cultural differences with Japanese cosplay.

The last panel I was in was called Mistä hyvät kauhupelit on tehty?  (loosely translated as "What are good horror games made of?"). I mainly visited it because the description mentioned Amnesia, which I was really a fan of when I was a teenager. It also mentioned SOMA, other game by Frictional Games that made Amnesia, which for some reason I never played or watched playtrough of. It also mentioned Silent Hill 2, one of my favourite horror games and probably  one of the best horror games ever made, and of course Five Night's at Freddy's, which I was a fan of years ago but I will still watch playtrough of the new games when they get released. The panel was overall good even though the games were introduced quite fast. Also shorter versions of the trailers of the games were shown.
I got to say few things about Amnesia, for example how it became popular because of the very good and detailed plot, and watching people talk about it was fun, because that game was so nostalgic for me.

One of the best experiences in the con was with a French woman, who wanted a picture with me and told me my style was fantastic. She looked super cool and was very nice, too bad she left quite fast after the picture, so I could not ask for her social media.

Overall the con was good, even though I stayed only for one day. Yukicon is a nice con and it was close to me, so the overall feeling I got from the con was positive.

My look during Saturday~

Phantom of the Opera, Finnish National Opera, 27.11.2018 & 29.12.2018

Woah, posting this took forever. I actually finished this text in January, but it took over two months to get the courage to change this blog's language to English.
Anyway, here are my thoughts of the Finnish version of Phantom of the Opera, hope you enjoy. :)

I have been a fan of Phantom of the Opera for over ten years - I first heard about it when I was about 8 years old.
I loved the movie despite it's really bad singing, listened many recordings and absolutely loved Sarah Brightman and Sierra Boggess.
I have dreamed for a very long time to see this musical live and it finally happened.
The musical had probably the biggest budget I have ever seen in Finland - Finnish musicals are usually done with small budgets and small theathers, which don't have a lot of backstage, so the sets cannot be very big.
Phantom of the Opera was made in the Finnish National Opera House, so bigger and more impressive set was possible.
I really liked the costumes, they were a lot simpler than the ones used in the States, but still very beautiful.
Christine's white dress during Think of Me was very beautiful, and I absolutely loved Carlotta's silver corselet during  Don Juan Triumphant.
I loved the set during the song Phantom of the Opera, the set gives an eye tricking illusion that the Phantom and Christine move to the other side of the set within few seconds.
Also the design of Phantom's cave was really nice, it had many good details.

Christine was played by amazing Finnish soprano Iida Antola.
Her Christine was incredible, and she became easily my favourite Christine.
She had very operatic voice compared to other Christine's, and she demanded attention from the viewer.
When the song Phantom of the Opera came, her voice gave me chills and I completely forgot about Phantom's presence.
I have always wanted the hear the song sung by a very operatic voice, and now I got it.

Phantom was played by Ilkka Hämäläinen.
He is an opera singer, and had a good voice, but I felt he did not fit the part.
Phantom in the production was done in a little bit strange way, usually he's portrayed as a handsome man, now he looked like a homeless person if I'm being completely honest.
He did not give me the feel what I expected from the character, and he did not command the stage like I expected.

Carlotta, my favourite character in the musical, was portrayed by Kaisa Ranta.
She had a good voice, and her rendition of Hannibal was amazing - I could literally feel her voice.
Not may be the best Carlotta but she was still very good - I liked her voice and her acting.
My biggest problem with her is how she disappeared behind the other actors, especially if Christine was on stage.
This version of Christine commanded so much attention that when she was on stage, I literally watched and listened only her.
This kind of annoyed me, Carlotta should command the attention when she's on stage, she's an opera diva after all.
What bothered me was that during Prima Donna Carlotta did not change clothes, and in the next scene she was in new clothes.

The chorus was amazing, and I could hear the opera singers in it.
I was surprised by how good the supporting character's voices were, especially Madame Giry's (Emilia Vesalainen-Pellas) voice was very good and very operatic.

During Don Juan Triumphant, they had a large metal female torso on stage.
I do not know if other productions had something similar, but that was really weird for me.
Overall, I did enjoy the musical, and I sat on third row, so I saw it really well.

My look during the show~

The second time I saw the show was 29.12.18.
This time I sat at the balcony, and it was nice to see the show from completely different view - last time I sat so close to the stage I could not see the entirety.
Christine was still played by Iida Antola, who was still as good as she was the first time.

Phantom was played by Kevin Greenlaw, an American opera singer.
I had heard he is an amazing singer, and he did not disappointed me - I really liked his Phantom.
He had the the power and control of his character, he sung with awesome power.
I still did not like Phantom's look in this production, but Greenlaw's singing made me forgot about it.

This time Carlotta was performed by Hanna-Leena Haapamäki.
I really liked her Carlotta, she sung amazingly well and she did not disappear behind the other actors.
I also really liked her acting, she played the diva Carlotta is perfectly.

Raoul in both shows was played by Olli Tuovinen.
I have never been the biggest fan of Raoul, in every production of Phantom he annoys me, the way he acts because he's just so good (and the movie version of that character was the worst portrayal of Raoul I have ever seen).
I was really surprised that I liked this production's version of Raoul.
Tuovinen's Raoul felt soft and caring towards Christine, and they really had chemistry.
I also really liked his voice, he could sing both soft notes and powerful ones.

My look when I saw the show second time.

Since I was sitting in the balcony, I could see the whole stage differently, and I could really see the decor and all the details they put on it.
The decor was really big, bigger than I could see from the third row, and very detailed.
I have already mentioned some sets of the show, but the layer of Phantom, the graveyard and the roof of the Opera house were really nicely done.
I watched the 25th Anniversary same day I watched the Finnish production, and even though the American version is done with a lot bigger budget, I liked that some things were done better in the Finnish production. Finnish production had better sets, and I have to say that Kevin Greenlaw and Iida Antola both have better voices than in the filmed version (even though Sierra Boggess will always be one of my favourite Christine.)
Also the chorus in the Finnish version was better, I always felt odd when in the American version the chorus sung badly even though they could sing (this was in the Broadway soundtrack too).
If you like this musical I highly recommend watching the 25th Anniversary, it is really good. :)

Changing the Title and Language

I have had this blog for almost seven years now, and I have been thinking of changing the language to English and changing the title of the blog.
I started this blog when I was 15 years old back in 2012, thinking I would write it for a year and then delete it. Turns out I did not delete it and I became quite fond of this blog.
I have been thinking of changing the language and title for years and for years I've hated the name I chose for the blog in 2012. Somehow changing the language seemed too difficult, and I could not figure out a new name for this blog.

As you can see, the new name for this blog is Beautiful Torture.
It was basically the only name I thought would work, and somehow it felt like it described me - my life has literally being beautiful yet torturous.
I have literally gone to Hell and back and survived.
But that's enough about my expriences in life, I might wrote more about it when I feel like it.

I also considered the name of Without the Blessing of Fate, as a reference to this song, as I felt the title described me and that is actually my favourite soundtrack of all video game soundtracks, but that felt little bit awkward since Soul Calibur's Ivy is my favourite character and I'm planning of write things about her and link this song.

Unfortunately the address for Beautiful Torture was already taken, so I decided to stay with the old address. I know, it's little bit silly since it is the nickname I'm most known for in the Internet, but I knew I wanted to call this blog Beautiful Torture and could not figure out any other name.

I apologize that this post is quite short, I just wanted to clear out why I'm doing these changes.
